The General Service Administration has added six months to the initial period of performance for the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services Unrestricted contract to ensure availability of the acquisition vehicle when high-spend activities hit during the third and fourth quarters of the fiscal year.
The agency said Saturday the Office of Professional Services and Human Capital extended the OASIS Unrestricted PoP from Sept. 2, 2024, to March 1, 2025, to support ordering contracting officers looking to meet mission critical requirements.
All OASIS Unrestricted contracts– active or even dormant but with active task orders– are covered by the PSHC’s decision.
In the same announcement, GSA reiterated that there are no available extensions for the OASIS Small Business and OASIS 8(a) contracts. Both will end Dec. 19, 2024.
However, a task order option period may still be exercised following OASIS contract term expiration given that it does not exceed five years. Task order PoP is available for OASIS Unrestricted until March 1, 2030, while it is open for OASIS Small Business and 8(a) until Dec. 19, 2029.
GSA is already seeking proposals for OASIS+, the follow-on to the multiagency program for technology services acquisition. The OASIS+ Unrestricted has eight performance areas or domains.
Responses to the requests for proposals for six contracts comprising OASIS+ are due Sept. 13.
