Dave Cole, former chief product officer at cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike, has been appointed to the same role at Columbia, Maryland-based security monitoring technology developer Tenable Network Security.
He previously led CrowdStrike’s efforts to design and develop cloud-based endpoint security technology, Tenable Network Security said Monday.
Before that, he managed the Norton antivirus software product at Symantec (Nasdaq: SYMC) and held product management roles at Foundstone and Internet Security Systems.
“As Tenable executes on our long term strategy to transform security technology for the emerging IT landscape, Dave Coles history of driving product innovation and his experience building highly scalable systems make him a valuable addition to the Tenable executive team, ” said Renaud Deraison, chief technology officer of Tenable Network Security.
Tenable Network Security develops comprehensive security platforms for government and commercial clients to prioritize threats, eliminate blind spots and cut exposure risk.
