Bryan Walter, former go-to-market lead for the cloud business at Accenture‘s (NYSE: ACN) federal arm, has been appointed vice president and general manager of the federal solutions unit at construction information technology provider Gordian.
He will lead Gordian’s efforts to help federal customers manage facilities and infrastructure assets through the use of software, the company said Monday.
Walter brings more than 18 years of management and technology consulting experience in the federal sector to his new position. In his previous role at Accenture Federal Services, he oversaw AFS’ cloud technology development and go-to-market functions.
Greenville, South Carolina-based Gordian offers the RSMeans software-as-a-service platform designed to help government users estimate project costs.
The company said its customers include the departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
