Boeing (NYSE: BA) has secured a $139.8 million order from the U.S. Army‘s Special Operations Aviation Command for four modernized MH-47GChinook helicopters.
The Army will add Chinooks with Block II configuration to the service branch’s current fleet of 69 MH-47G units, Boeing said Wednesday.
The company expects production work to continue through the late 2020s.
