South Carolina-based private investment fund Route 2 Capital Partners also backed Bluestones investment in Intrepid.
Pillsbury, Winthrop, Shaw, Pittman advised Bluestone on the transactions legal aspect. Aronson Capital Partners acted as Intrepids investment banking adviser, while McCandlish Lillard and PilieroMazza PLLC served as legal advisers to the IT firm.
McLean, Va.-based Bluestone is a private equity firm focused on investing in middle-market companies in the government services and defense sectors.
