Alexandra Gurney, a principal at EY’s U.S. government and public sector practice, has been appointed to lead federal civilian and security accounts within the same unit.
She brings more than two decades of management consulting experience in both the public and private sectors to her new position, the professional services company said Wednesday.
Gurney joined the EY GPS organization in 2011 and has supported the firm’s civilian market growth initiatives. As a principal, she managed account teams focused on the General Services Administration, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and Department of Transportation.
Her professional experience also included support for Federal Aviation Administration’s strategic efforts and work at Grant Thornton‘s global public sector arm.
