The U.S. Air Force has released a draft request for proposals for a potential $750 million contract vehicle meant to address non-personal support requirements at a facility overseeing the branch’s remotely piloted aircraft missions.
A presolicitation notice posted on SAM. gov states that the RPA-Squadron Operations Center Enteprise Services contract is structured as a small business set-aside acquisition program with an ordering period of eight years.
USAF said the center plans squadron-level missions, coordinates airspace tasks, retrieves and archives data, and generates tasking and targeting information.
Required services from potential contractors will include the management of command, control, communications, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems at the center.
The branch will accept questions, feedback or suggestions regarding its draft RFP document until July 2 and expects to award spots on the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract by mid-January 2022.
