The contract has an initial $4 million value and covers missile engineering and sustainment work at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico through Dec. 30, 2021, the Defense Department said Wednesday.
ASRC Federal Space and Defense will maintain excess solid rocket motors as well as engineer control systems, aerodynamics, propellants, software and electrical components of the branch’s tactical missiles.
DoD says the Air Force is obligating $1, 025, 000 from fiscal 2015 research, development, testing and evaluation funding sources at the time of award.
