Lockheed Wins $94M for Air Force Network Support

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) a $94 million contract to provide maintenance and network infrastructure support, the Pentagon announced Wednesday.

The Pentagon said Lockheed’s global training and logistics business will develop software and hardware solutions.

Lockheed will also provide mission operations engineering for the Distributed Mission Operations Center, an Air Force training unit located at Kirkland Air Force Base, N.M.

Work will be performed at Kirkland and is expected to be completed Jan. 31, 2017.
