Capgemini is in the process of planning a series of acquisitions. These acquisitions are aiming to strengthen the position of Capgemini in the U.S marketplace. Right now, Capgemini is the largest IT service company in Europe, but they have similar goals for the U.S. Currently standing at number 19 in the U.S, they have plans to ultimately become one of the top 5 U.S technology service providers. According to CEO, Paul Hermelin, “We must be in the top five to be credible.” He also noted that they would be considering purchases in new technologies, as well as Asia.
