The Department of the Air Force has awarded 24 companies positions on a $920 million Next-Generation Aerospace Ground Equipment, or NGAGE, multiple-award contract.

What Does the NGAGE Contract Cover?

The Department of War said Monday the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is intended to support the modernization, sourcing and full lifecycle of aerospace ground equipment used with warfighter aircraft, including fighters, bombers, tankers, airlift aircraft and unmanned systems. It covers launch, recovery, operations and maintenance activities at various locations, along with the design, development, testing and implementation of new equipment technologies.

What Are the Other Contract Details?

The contract has a two-year base period and four two-year option periods, with work expected to continue through 2036 as part of the planned 10-year IDIQ. NGAGE falls under the Agile Combat Support and Aerospace Ground Equipment section of the Support Equipment and Vehicles division at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia, which serves as the contracting activity through the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center.

The government obligated $15,000 in fiscal 2026 research, development, test and evaluation funds at the time of award. The award follows the Air Force’s release of a draft request for proposals for NGAGE in August 2025.
