Virtualitics has appointed Kristy Friedrichs as chief operating officer as the artificial intelligence company expands operations to support national security and mission-focused customers.
What Will Friedrichs Oversee as Virtualitics COO?
The company said Tuesday Friedrichs will oversee the operational strategy needed to support Virtualitics’ expansion. She will also manage the company’s human resources operations, focusing on workforce culture and recruitment efforts for AI, sales and technical roles.
Michael Amori, CEO and co-founder of Virtualitics, said Friedrichs brings operational leadership experience from high-growth technology companies that aligns with the company’s expansion strategy.
“As we continue building the foundation to scale, Kristy will help bring operational certainty across the organization, strengthening our operating model, our culture and our ability to execute in support of mission-critical customers,” said Amori.
Who Is Kristy Friedrichs?
Friedrichs is an industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience helping technology companies execute growth and operational strategies, build high-performing teams and scale organizations through data-driven operations.
She most recently served as chief partnerships officer at Palo Alto Networks, where she managed global partner strategy and strategic alliances. She spent nearly seven years at New Relic, serving as COO and chief people officer. Friedrichs previously spent over 15 years at Bain & Company, where she supported Fortune 500 clients and managed consulting operations in the Bay Area.
How Is Virtualitics Expanding Its Leadership Team?
The appointment follows other recent executive hires aligned with Virtualitics’ growth strategy. In January, the company named Craig Rosen as chief financial officer to oversee financial planning, capital strategy and legal functions. Virtualitics also appointed Chris Brown as public sector chief technology officer in December to help lead technical strategy for federal and defense customers.
