Dexian Government Solutions has named Doug Kumbalek, a national security market growth and strategy executive, chief growth officer.
What Will Kumbalek Oversee as CGO?
Dexian Government Solutions said Wednesday Kumbalek will direct the company’s growth strategy, business development and capture activities. He will also manage market positioning and engagement with customers and partners.
His agenda centers on meeting the mission requirements of customers, improving the company’s standing against competitors and driving growth over the long term.
Michael Zembrzuski, CEO of Dexian Government Solutions, pointed to Kumbalek’s track record of growing organizations’ footprint in the market, deepening customer ties and producing results.
“His deep understanding of the federal market, combined with his operational leadership and commitment to mission success, makes him uniquely qualified to help guide our next phase of growth,” Zembrzuski said.
Who Is Doug Kumbalek?
Kumbalek is a GovCon executive with experience in aerospace, defense, intelligence, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and digital transformation, according to his company profile.
Before joining Dexian Government Solutions, he founded and led CardinalEdge Partners, an advisory firm serving C-suite leaders, boards and private equity-backed companies. He was previously chief strategy officer and executive vice president of System High and earlier served as a VP and division manager at Leidos.
Kumbalek started his career as a U.S. Marine Corps officer and naval aviator, flying the AH-1W Super Cobra as a pilot and aircraft commander.
The certified Project Management Professional described Dexian Government Solutions as a company operating where technology, mission support and innovation meet.

What Is Dexian Government Solutions?
Dexian Government Solutions is a McLean, Virginia-based government contractor that provides enterprise IT infrastructure support, agile and DevOps application development, cybersecurity, virtualization, financial management and enterprise resource planning implementation, cloud, and health IT services to federal agencies.
In March, Dexian brought LinTech Global under the Dexian Government Solutions brand, combining its federal technology and services capabilities into a single operating structure led by Zembrzuski. LinTech Global offers enterprise IT, cybersecurity, cloud computing, AI and machine learning, and professional services to defense and civilian agencies.
Dexian launched in May 2023 as the combined identity of Digital Intelligence Systems and Signature Consultants, following the January 2023 acquisition of LinTech Global.
