Cryptic Vector Buys Caesar Creek Software

Enlightenment Capital-backed Cryptic Vector has acquired Caesar Creek Software for an undisclosed sum as part of a push to expand its portfolio of offensive cybersecurity offerings.

Expanding Offensive Cyber Portfolio

Established in 1998, Dayton, Ohio-based Caesar Creek provides offensive cyber research and development support in the areas of vulnerability analysis, reverse engineering, exploit development and network security for the Department of Defense and the U.S. intelligence community.

“Joining forces with Caesar Creek supercharges our offensive cyber portfolio with elite talent and proven expertise in exploit development and reverse engineering,” Cryptic Vector CEO Sean Olding said in a statement published Monday.

With the acquisition of Caesar Creek, Cryptic Vector now has over 250 cyber engineers and experts providing offensive cyber support for DOD and IC agency customers.

Their capabilities, team, and culture align exceptionally well with those of Caesar Creek. What Does Cryptic Vector Do?

Founded in 2018, Cincinnati-based Cryptic Vector offers offensive cyber, electronic warfare and secure radio frequency communications to help DOD and IC customers address mission challenges.

In 2024, the company received a strategic investment from Enlightenment Capital.
