- Jeff Ladner, former chief product officer at Onspring, has moved to Exostar to serve as CPO
- Ladner’s leadership responsibilities will include product strategy, management and innovation
- Ladner will succeed Vijay Takanti, who was promoted to chief strategy officer
Exostar announced Tuesday that it has appointed former Onspring chief product officer Jeff Ladner as its new CPO.
Ladner will take charge of product strategy, management and innovation efforts across the company, with a mandate to help clients bolster security, streamline compliance and boost operational performance.
Who Is Jeff Ladner?
Ladner has more than three decades of experience running product organizations and steering software portfolios through transformation, with a background spanning SaaS, compliance, risk management, environmental health and safety, and business information services. Before joining Exostar, Ladner served as chief product officer at Onspring and at Intelex, where he led product organizations through transitions to modern cloud-based platforms. He also held senior product roles at Sphera and IHS Markit, now part of S&P Global, where he worked on product modernization, acquisitions and portfolio expansion.
“By listening closely to our customers and anticipating the evolving needs of their industries, we’ll continue delivering solutions that solve today’s challenges while preparing them for what’s next,” Ladner said of his goals in the new role.
What Led to Ladner’s Appointment?
Ladner takes over product leadership duties from Vijay Takanti, who has moved into the chief strategy officer role. Exostar framed the pair of executive moves as part of a broader push to sharpen its long-term strategic direction while speeding up delivery of new product capabilities for customers.
The appointment comes as companies in the aerospace and defense, life sciences and healthcare sectors contend with mounting cybersecurity, regulatory and supply chain pressures. Ladner will be responsible for shaping Exostar’s product roadmap, with particular emphasis on advancing the company’s compliance, cybersecurity, identity and supply chain risk offerings and knitting them into a more unified platform experience.
