Matt Bugbee Joins Comtech as Chief Growth Officer

Federal IT services provider Comtech has named Matt Bugbee, a federal civilian growth strategist, chief growth officer.

In a LinkedIn post published Tuesday, Bugbee said he is excited to collaborate with Comtech CEO Shailendra Sharma and the entire team as the company focuses on expanding its presence in the federal civilian and state and local government sectors.

In this role, he oversees enterprisewide growth strategy and execution across federal civilian, state and local markets. He is responsible for building strategic partnerships, identifying and pursuing new contract opportunities and market segments, and leading cross-functional teams to align business development, capture and marketing efforts and drive revenue generation.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Bugbee has extensive experience leading large and small contracts and teams and has supported clients with the development and implementation of project and program management frameworks, IT governance, IT portfolio reviews, performance management strategies and change management efforts.

Prior to Comtech, Bugbee was director of business development for civilian programs at SAIC.

The certified Program Management Professional previously served as vice president and general manager of civilian solutions at DMI and account executive and program manager at Peraton.
