Serco Group‘s North American subsidiary has secured a potential five-year, $238 million follow-on contract from the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation for continued customer support services.
Serco Inc. will continue to provide customer support and benefits administration services for over 1 million defined benefit plan holders in the U.S. under the recompete contract, the company said Monday.
“This award allows Serco to continue building on our 20-plus years of providing services in the financial well-being of millions of Americans,” said Serco Inc. CEO Tom Watson.
“Serco is not only a service provider, but a lifeline for many individuals who need human assistance with questions or need help with complex issues when processing a claim,” added Watson, a 2024 Wash100 awardee.
The contract has a one-year base term and four option years.
