Simms is a longtime Valiant executive who most recently served as chief operating officer after rejoining the company in January, the company said Tuesday. During his initial five-year tenure at Valiant, he held the role of vice president of critical mission solutions, supporting mission-critical programs across global operating environments.
The new CEO brings years of experience in revenue growth, workforce planning, performance improvement, and business transformation. His background also includes business development, cross-functional and cross-cultural team management and thought leadership.
“Dan is a proven leader with deep operational experience and a relentless focus on mission success,” said Mike Devoto, a board member of Valiant Integrated Services.
What Is Simms’ Professional Background?
Simms previously served as COO of Acuity International, where he was responsible for guiding business transformation, shaping corporate strategy and managing financial performance. Earlier in his career, Simms spent more than 11 years at Mission Essential, where he served in multiple leadership positions, including VP roles in business development and operations.
A certified Project Management Professional, Simms spent six years with the Maryland Army National Guard before entering the private sector in 2007.
