TechnoMile Names Tom Temin as Strategic Media Adviser, Launches Federal Market Interview Series

TechnoMile has appointed longtime federal technology journalist and broadcaster Tom Temin as strategic media adviser and announced the launch of a new interview series focused on issues shaping the government contracting and federal technology landscape.

In a press release sent to GovCon Wire, the company said Temin will host “Federal Market Frontlines,” a show featuring conversations with senior executives, agency leaders and subject matter experts on topics such as artificial intelligence in acquisition, Federal Acquisition Regulation modernization, policy shifts and evolving mission demands.

“Tom has built trust with the government and GovCon community by asking thoughtful questions and making complex issues understandable,” said Shayne Forsyth, TechnoMile’s senior vice president of marketing.

Who Is Tom Temin?

With decades of experience in federal technology, acquisition and management, Temin is best known for his long-standing role at Federal News Network, where he hosted “The Federal Drive.”

In an April 2025 column, Temin reflected on nearly 48 years in journalism and roughly 10,000 interviews conducted over the course of his career. He also noted that while he was stepping away from full-time hosting at Federal News Network, he did not plan to fully exit the federal news space.

“I’m not disappearing,” Temin wrote, adding that he expected to remain involved through part-time projects.

What Will the New TechnoMile Federal Market Show Cover?

TechnoMile said the first episodes of Federal Market Frontlines will launch in the coming weeks, with distribution through its website, major podcast platforms and YouTube. The series will examine how policy shifts and emerging technologies are influencing opportunity development, contract management, compliance and industrial security across the federal ecosystem.

“I’ve spent my career focused on how government and industry work together to deliver results,” said Temin. “TechnoMile sits at a critical juncture in federal business and mission delivery. This new show will surface realworld perspectives from leaders navigating AI adoption, acquisition modernization, and shifting operational demands.”
