In this capacity, Schumacher will lead business portfolio management, oversee strategic planning and execution and drive growth across the national security sector’s cyber-related portfolio of platforms, services and programs, according to his profile on the professional networking site.
Prior to Leidos, he spent 14 years at Booz Allen Hamilton(NYSE: BAH), where he served as a principal responsible for a team of business development and strategic capture executives focused on driving growth initiatives for the national security business unit.
Schumacher, a U.S. Army veteran, was an associate at financial services company Harris Williams before he joined Booz Allen.
He currently serves as a part-time cyber officer within the Virginia Army National Guard and as an executive adviser at Fortress Information Security.
