The FBI has awarded 95 companies positions on the potential eight-year, $8 billion follow-on Information Technology Supplies and Support Services blanket purchase agreement.
According to a notice published Friday on SAM.gov, 31 of the ITSSS-2 BPA awardees are large companies and 64 are small businesses.
The vendors will help meet the critical IT requirements of the bureau and other components within the Department of Justice under the contract vehicle.
The procurement section team at the FBI’s finance and facilities division will establish a resource portal to assist customers with their requirement packages and launch a forecasting tool to identify future requirements and enable awardees to plan their proposals.
The team will also conduct informational sessions with stakeholders on the BPA over the next few weeks.
In February 2023, the bureau announced that it would be responsible for the execution of the award phase for the second iteration of the ITSSS vehicle.
