Laura Kurup, a data and analytics professional, will assume the role of principal director for data science innovation at Accenture‘s (NYSE: ACN) federal government subsidiary on Sept. 11.
In this capacity, she will help Accenture Federal Services‘ agency customers address mission-critical challenges using data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.
Prior to AFS, Kurup was chief data and analytics officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where she established standards and measures for data security, quality and compliance.
She led the development of technology systems to facilitate business process workflows, collaboration and data analytics at the Securities and Exchange Commission as chief strategy and innovation officer.
