Robotic process automation software provider UiPath has unveiled a seven-member advisory board that will aim to help the company explore and identify opportunities to automate systems for government customers.
New York-based UiPath said Wednesday it expects to gain insight from its public sector advisory board on government missions, technology challenges and policies as the company pursues the market segment.
Each adviser can serve a term of at least one year.
Chris Townsend, area vice president for UiPath’s public sector business, said that the group’s insight will guide the company in efforts to innovate for agencies’ modernization requirements through automation.
The advisory board members are:
Aneesh Chopra, president of CareJourney and former U.S. chief technology officer
Tyler Cowen, a professor and an economist at George Mason University
Suzette Kent (two-time Wash100 awardee), CEO of Kent Advisory Services and former federal chief information officer
Gopal Khanna, executive-in-residence at the University of Minnesota’s Medical Industry Leadership Institute and former director of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality
Matt Lira, former special assistant to the president for innovation policy and initiatives in the White House Office of American Innovation
Shelley Metzenbaum, former associate director of performance and personnel management in the Office of Management and Budget
