Katherine Dimeo, former president of Navitas Clinical Research, has been named chief operating officer at Arlington, Virginia-based international development and foreign assistance mission support provider CRDF Global.
Dimeo brings more than 25 years of life sciences, health technology and biosecurity experience to the nonprofit organization and will be responsible for growing its portfolio of international programs, CRDF Global said.
She previously led KAI Research, which Navitas Life Sciences acquired in 2019, and managed clinical research projects across the U.S., Russia, India and the Southeast Asian region.
Her career also includes prior leadership positions at Medstar Health, Metabiota and the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine.
CRDF offers program management, training, logistics and technical services in areas such as global health, chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear security, trade controls, international exchange and cybersecurity.
