The U.S. Navy has awarded 11 companies positions on a potential five-year, $249.7 million contract to provide technical services in support of the service branch’s cybersecurity operations, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems and ISR activities.
The Department of Defense said Thursday the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific in San Diego received 22 offers for the multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, which includes systems engineering, software and hardware development, training, program and configuration management, installation, sustainment and maintenance services.
The IDIQ contract has a three-year base period worth potentially $145.4 million and a two-year option term that could run through March 2, 2026, should the Navy exercise all options.
Contractors will vie for task orders and the service will obligate fiscal year 2021 funds upon issuance of task orders.
