U.S. Transportation Command has re-awarded the potential $7.2B Global Household Goods Contract to American Roll-On Roll-Off Carrier Group after the Government Accountability Office denied a protest of the contract award and Transcom completed its assessment.
GHC was initially awarded on April 30 and will include the provision of global relocation services for the U.S. Coast Guard and the Department of Defense and storage-in-transit of household goods, ARC said Monday.
ARC will work with subcontractors to provide equipment, personnel, materials and other tools needed to provide relocation support for defense personnel and their families.
The contract has a transition phase of nine months and may run for over nine years if the government exercises all options.
ARC’s subcontracting partners on GHCinclude Atlas World Group, Deloitte, Suddath, The Pasha Group and UniGroup.
