Jeremy Bash, a cybersecurity intelligence professional, has been appointed to the board of directors of managed security services provider deepwatch.
Charlie Thomas, CEO of deepwatch, said in a statement released Tuesday Bash is an expert on modern security issues and a trusted adviser to technology firms worldwide.
Bash brings to deepwatch over two decades of experience as an adviser to national leaders and CEOs of companies across defense, aerospace, finance and security areas.
He is founder and managing director of Beacon Global Strategies, former chief of staff at the CIA and the Department of Defense and serves as a national security analyst for MSNBC and NBC News.
In April, St. Petersburg, Fla.-based deepwatch raised $23M in Series A funding round led by ABS Capital Partners to advance market expansion and research-and-development work on machine learning security analytics tools.
