Teresa Shea, formerly executive vice president of technology at In-Q-Tel, has joined Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) as VP of cyber warfare and mission innovations within the intelligence, information and services business.
She will report to John DeSimone, VP of cybersecurity and special missions at Raytheon IIS, and lead the integration of the companys Department of Defense cyber warfare programs with cyber mission initiatives within the intelligence community, Raytheon said Thursday.
“Teresa’s three decades of leadership in national security and technology development will set a new foundation for our cyber business and help take it to the next level,” said Dave Wajsgras, president of Raytheon IIS and a 2019 Wash100 winner.
Wajsgras added Sheas insights and experience will help the company provide innovative platforms designed to help clients address cyber challenges.
Prior to IQT, Shea served for more than three decades in the National Security Agency and held leadership roles including director of signals intelligence.
