Novetta has acquired Reston, Va.-based information technology services contractor Berico Technologies for an undisclosed sum in a move to broaden its cloud engineering capabilities and advance growth efforts.
Novetta said Monday it completed the purchase on Nov. 7 and Baird acted as Bericos exclusive financial adviser in the transaction.
“We are extremely excited to welcome Berico to the Novetta family, creating a powerhouse of talent and innovative technologies to support our customers,” commented Tiffanny Gates, Novetta president and CEO.
Gates said the acquisition would provide the McLean, Va.-based analytics company an opportunity to build up its capabilities and gain access to Bericos experience in cloud engineering and architecture platforms across the intelligence community.
Speaking with ExecutiveBiz Tuesday, Gates added, “Novetta has an extremely selective acquisitions process. With Berico, we have secured a company whose mission, values and technology align with our strategy and strengthen our position in the marketplace.”
Berico was established in 2006 and provides data analytics, cyber space operations, cloud engineering and IT modernization platforms and services to IC customers such as the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the Defense Intelligence Agency.
