GE Lands Potential $643M Air Force FMS Contract for Aircraft Engines, Spares


General Electric (NYSE: GE) has received a potential seven-year, $643 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide F110-GE-129 aircraft engines and spares to three foreign military sales clients.

The Defense Department said Thursday GE will also provide updated engine monitoring system computers, over-and-above repair services for government-furnished properties and technical data reports to Bahrain, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center serves as the contracting activity for the 100 percent FMS contract.

GE will perform work in Cincinnati, Ohio, through Nov. 8, 2024.
