Nightwing Acquires Roka Security in Cyber Capability Expansion Push

Intelligence technology company Nightwing has acquired Roka Security for an undisclosed sum to strengthen its capacity to deliver more targeted, full-spectrum cyber platforms to government and private sector customers.

Dulles, Virgnia-based Nightwing said Thursday it expects Roka Security’s team of experts to complement its cyber operations while keeping its customized, agile approach to customer mission platforms.

“Roka Security’s capabilities and reputation for excellence in providing niche cyber solutions align perfectly with Nightwing’s mission to deliver cutting edge capability on our customers most important missions,” said Nightwing CEO Bob Coleman.

“With this acquisition, we are enhancing our ability to provide technical training, secure data transport solutions, and critical infrastructure to clients when and where they need it most,” added Coleman.

Chris Jones, chief technology officer and chief data officer at Nightwing, said Roka Security supports critical missions and its tailored mission capabilities perfectly complement the company’s portfolio of cyber, collection and communications offerings.

What Does Roka Security Do?

Roka Security provides managed cybersecurity services and has deep expertise in data center operations, infrastructure as code, secure data transport and niche technical training. 

The Herndon, Virginia-based company helps customers protect their networks from cyberattacks through its vulnerability scanning and assessment, intrusion detection and penetration testing capabilities.
