Jeff Burdett Appointed Senior Vice President of C2ISR at SAIC

Jeff Burdett, a retired U.S. Air Force colonel, has been elevated to senior vice president of command and control intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, or C2ISR at SAIC.

Vincent DiFronzo, SAIC executive VP for Air Force and COCOM Business and two-time Wash100 Award winner, announced the promotion on LinkedIn Wednesday. In his new role, Burdett will leverage his expertise and strategic foresight in driving SAIC’s growth in new mission areas, particularly in the field of C2ISR.

Who Is Jeff Burdett?

Burdett has been with SAIC for over five years. Before his promotion, he served as VP and senior program manager for the Air Force Modeling and Simulation Support Services, or AFMS3, 2.0 program. He served as director of capture management and business development when he joined the company in 2020.

Before joining the private sector, Burdett served in the Air Force for almost three decades. He was most recently the director of force development for the USAF Strategic Integration Group. The executive was also the commander of the 5050 Training Group and assistant deputy director of requirements, overseeing weapons systems lifecycle management and future investment.

Burdett held other leadership roles with the Air Force, including director of staff of the 4th Fighter Wing, director of operations for the 333rd Fighter Squadron, commander of the 451 Flying Training Squadron and deputy division chief of basing at the Air Combat Command headquarters.

“It’s my pleasure to recognize Jeff Burdett on his well-earned promotion to senior vice president, leading the C2ISR market in SAIC’s Air Force & Combatant Commands Business Group,” said DiFronzo. “Under Jeff’s mission-driven leadership, his team has played a key role in advancing operational command and control programs, including the ABMS Cloud-Based C2 program and Joint Fires Network — delivering cutting-edge capabilities to our warfighters.”
