Christy Wilder, a seasoned strategic consultant, has been selected as the chief security officer at Peraton.
The national security company said Thursday Wilder was selected after serving as an adviser to Peraton’s defense mission and health solutions sector. In her new role, the security expert will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive strategies focused on risk management, incident response and safety protocols safeguarding employees and company assets.
Christy Wilder’s Career Highlights
Wilder founded and served as CEO of Wilder and Associates, a consulting firm specializing in security-related strategies. Before embarking on her own strategic consultation business, Wilder served as vice president and CSO at Maxar Technologies. In this dual role, she supervised the company’s security program by managing its framework, ensuring risk compliance and safeguarding information security and operational technology.
The Peraton executive previously served as VP of security for intelligence and national security space at Leidos, where she spearheaded security business development, fostering senior-level engagement and actively promoting reform initiatives in line with Leidos’ strategic growth efforts.
Before joining the private sector, Wilder served as deputy director at various agencies, including the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency, Office of Personnel Management and Office of the Director of National Intelligence. Her roles were mainly related to the National Background Investigations Bureau.
Wilder also held various roles at the National Counterintelligence and Security Center and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
