Vibrint has secured three federal contracts worth over $1.2 billion to support high-performance computing, or HPC, and mission IT efforts for national security customers over the next seven years.
What Do the New Contracts Cover?
The defense technology company said Tuesday the contracts cover the delivery of secure, high-availability products and services to support critical operational and analytical systems. Vibrint will provide life cycle engineering, modernization and sustainment services for HPC environments. The work also includes hybrid platform integration, support for mission-specific systems and enterprise coordination across multiple sites.
In addition, the company will carry out program management, systems engineering, software development and cybersecurity engineering across more than 15 task areas. It will collaborate with government stakeholders, over 30 subcontractors and seven original equipment manufacturers to align work with national security requirements and long-term technology goals.
How Will the Work Impact Vibrint?
The contracts are expected to expand the company’s workforce to nearly 350 personnel. Vibrint is hiring more than 100 full-time engineering positions to support the effort. CEO Tom Lash said the awards reflect customer confidence and position the company to contribute to defense and intelligence missions.
What Recent Developments Support Vibrint’s Growth?
The awards follow prior contract wins supporting intelligence community programs, including participation in a 10-year Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense contract vehicle.
In 2025, the company acquired Ampsight to broaden its technology capabilities and partnered with Invary to develop an advanced zero trust technology that delivers continuous runtime system monitoring.
Vibrint also expanded its leadership team with the addition of Chris Oliver, John Martin and Skip Masselli, and opened a 15,000-square-foot office in Reston, Virginia, as it continues to build capacity for future work.
