Mark Hitch Named Serco’s Citizen Services Business Development VP

Mark Hitch has returned to Serco Inc. to assume the role of vice president of citizen services business development, the executive announced in a LinkedIn post.

He initially joined the U.S. business arm of Serco Group in May 2018 as VP of federal services business development and was later named its VP of acquisition program management and logistics.

Hitch spent over four years at Serco before moving to Astrion to serve as senior vice president responsible for driving business development and capture efforts.

Mark Hitch’s Professional Background

The growth leader kicked off his business development-focused career with AlliedSignal Technical Services more than two decades ago.

Hitch then spent several years at Honeywell as a director before moving to Textron Systems, where he assumed senior director roles before eventually becoming its vice president of business development.

The executive worked for Textron Systems for nearly 10 years.

He has a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and a master’s from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
