John Lossing, a 26-year industry veteran, has been appointed vice president of industry compliance at ManTech.
The artificial intelligence and mission-focused technology services provider said Tuesday Lossing will serve as the lead liaison for the Defense Contract Audit Agency and Defense Contract Management Agency.
John Lossing’s Career
Lossing is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional with over two decades of experience in corporate and subsidiary management. He brings a vast knowledge of government contract regulatory compliance and business ethics program development to his new leadership role. In addition, the new VP has a proven track record in contract negotiation, contract and audit management, budgeting, financial planning and analysis and information systems development.
The ManTech executive was most recently the VP of compliance at Health Net Federal Services, where he oversaw the company’s regulatory compliance and business ethics program activities. He was also the director of regulatory compliance at Northrop Grumman, leading contract compliance efforts for the DCMA, DCAA and other defense contractors. He also served the same role at Mission Essential from 2014 to 2020.
Lossing also served as chief compliance officer at Brasfield & Gorrie, director of accounting for government services at BioCryst Pharmaceuticals and director of finance at IMS Health. He started his career at General Dynamics in 1999, serving as director of employee relations and manager of government accounting.
