Private equity firm Digital Capital Partners has acquired Govplace, a secure IT products and services provider supporting federal agencies. Terms of the acquisition include retaining Govplace’s leadership team to ensure operational continuity.
The partnership deal, DigiCap’s first foray into the federal sector, aims to accelerate Govplace’s expansion in the federal IT marketplace, the Bethesda, Maryland-based company said Tuesday.

DigiCap will help Govplace address the increasingly complex digital transformation challenges faced by federal agencies by advancing its core IT modernization, cybersecurity and operational optimization offerings.
