Prior to joining Boeing, Hochholdinger held the manufacturing and supply chain VP position at Relativity Space, an aerospace manufacturing company known for its reusable rockets. In this role, he oversaw the manufacturing environment for medium-to-heavy lift reusable rocket Terran R.
Hochholdinger is also a veteran of the automaking industry. He served as vice president of global manufacturing at Lucid Motors, where he spearheaded the construction of the first electric vehicle factory in the United States. During his term as VP, the Lucid Production System was developed.
As vice president of production at Tesla, Hochholdinger managed the production sites in California and Europe.
Before that, Hochholdinger was with Audi for more than 20 years. He started in 1994 as an assistant to the board member of production and gradually climbed up to become senior director of production.
