The State Department has approved the potential $3.5 billion sale of up to 36 AH-64E Apache helicopters to the Republic of Korea. Boeing and Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) will serve as the principal contractors for the proposed foreign military sale, which also includes engines, fire control radars, missiles, missile warning systems, logistics and engineering support.
