Chenega has purchased SecuriGence and will integrate the veteran-owned small business into its military, intelligence and operations strategic business unit.
The Alaska Native corporation said Wednesday the integration planning has begun and the acquisition will expand Chenega MIOS’ portfolio with the addition of systems engineering, cybersecurity, software engineering and cloud and virtual management capabilities in support of Department of Defense and Intelligence Community customers.
Chenega MIOS President John Campagna described the addition of SecuriGence as a “game-changer.”
Leesburg, Virginia-based SecuriGence is a minority-owned business focused on delivering information technology operations, cybersecurity, project management, software development and systems engineering services to the government sector.
“SecuriGence brings well over a decade of exceptional service and support to the Defense and Intel communities. Their core competencies are a ‘wish list’ of abilities that would normally be found in a Fortune 500 engineering house. Their leadership is well respected and admired throughout the DoD/Intel community,” Campagna added.
Established in 2010, Lorton, Virginia-headquartered Chenega MIOS is a shared services division of Chenega Corporation and provides advanced analytics, architecture and engineering, logistics, facilities, intelligence, cloud, cybersecurity, data visualization and other IT services for federal, defense and commercial customers worldwide.
