Capgemini said Wednesday Ford replaced Bill Webner, a 2024 Wash100 Award recipient who had been with Capgemini Government Solutions for nearly a decade before stepping down as its chief executive.
The new CEO most recently served as head of U.S. federal sectors at Capgemini Government Solutions and previously held leadership roles at the company, including national security sector leader and client executive.
Commenting on Ford’s appointment, Jim Bailey, CEO of Capgemini in the Americas and group executive board member, underscored Ford’s efforts to drive business growth for Capgemini Government Solutions and expressed confidence in the executive’s work to sustain the strength and depth of the company’s long-term value.
“His leadership will bring a new perspective while we continue to be innovative with our clients and competitive in the federal marketplace,” added Bailey.
