BigBear.ai has named Jo Ann Bjornson as chief human resources officer and Alex Thompson as chief corporate affairs officer. The new leadership appointments will support expansion and innovation, the McLean-based defense technology firm said Wednesday.
Who Is Jo Ann Bjornson?
Bjornson brings more than 25 years of human resources leadership experience in federal contracting and commercial markets. She most recently served as an HR consultant for Austria Sabel and was chair of the Washington HRExec Council. She was senior vice president and CHRO at V2X after holding senior HR roles at Leidos for a decade. Bjornson also spent 12 years at SAIC, serving in multiple leadership positions.
Who Is Alex Thompson?
Thompson will leverage 25 years of experience in leading brand strategy, communications, government affairs and marketing. He previously served as president of global practices and sectors at Edelman, chief communications officer at Thomson Reuters and vice president of brand stewardship and impact at REI.
