CACI Lands $239M Army Network Modernization Task Order; John Mengucci Quoted

CACI International (NYSE: CACI) will help the U.S. Army modernize its Global Secret Internet Protocol Router network under a potential five-year, $239 million task order.

The company said Wednesday it will support the service branch’s network modernization effort by deploying commercial-based software and hardware to facilitate the secure transfer and access of users to sensitive data.

“Modernizing the Army’s classified network is an integral first step toward a unified, secure system,” said John Mengucci, president and CEO of CACI.

Mengucci, a 2024 Wash100 awardee, added that the company’s wired and wireless technologies and other modernization platforms “will enable the Army to outpace the growing demand for data insights and allow users to work on classified networks from any location.”

The Army’s Program Executive Office Command Control Computers-Tactical awarded the single-award task order, which has a one-year base term and four option years, through the Encore III indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
