If you’re not familiar with the Wash100 Award, it is the highest honor in government contracting, a designation that an executive in the industry has ‘made it’ and a vote of confidence from Executive Mosaic’s committee that the individual will likely shake up the sector in the years to come. You can see the full list of 2024’s recipients here.

After the awardees are announced in January, EM then holds a popular vote contest to determine an audience favorite, who is announced at the beginning of May. Every person gets 10 votes. Cast yours here and make an impact that might be felt in next week’s recap!

The back half of the top 10 was unstable ground this week, as a couple of executives pushed their way closer to the top five. David Levy of Amazon Web Services, a five-time recipient of the award, hopped from position number eight last week to six this week, while Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency Director Jen Easterly snuck her way up to number eight from the number nine slot.

In the top 20, Lt. Gen. Robert Skinner, director of the Defense Information Systems Agency, forged his way from number 17 to number 15 in a week’s time. Right behind him was Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines, who stepped up a spot to number 19.

Elsewhere, Haines’ colleague Dr. Stacey Dixon, deputy director of national intelligence, gained a boost from number 22 to number 20, and, in the biggest jump of the week, first-time Wash100 Award winner Lt. Gen. Timothy Haugh of the National Security Agency rocketed from number 25 to number 21.

New to the top 30 this week was DeEtte Gray of CACI International, who arrived at number 28. The top five remained the same as last week, with IBM’s Susan Wedge holding the number one spot.

Cast your votes now to participate in the race! It’s loads of fun and a great way to exercise your passion for the GovCon community.
