Terry Moore, a three-decade health services research and business development leader, will assume the role of vice president of innovation and quality at Rockville, Maryland-based research and professional services provider Westat on Jan. 1.
In this capacity, she will lead and improve processes to align the company with industry best practices across the areas of quality assurance, talent development and project and risk management to meet the requirements of customers, Westat said.
Moore most recently served as a senior adviser and mentor at Westat Insight, where she led business development efforts and health services research projects.
She is a fellow of the Gerontological Society of America and former vice president of domestic health policy at Abt Associates.
“Terry’s wealth of research experience and track record of project excellence as well as her interpersonal, and coaching skills make her an invaluable asset to our team,” said Scott Royal, president and CEO of Westat.
“We look forward to the success we will achieve under her leadership of our innovation and quality efforts,” Royal added.
