She has been with Draper for over six years, taking on various positions of increasing responsibilities. The executive most recently served as deputy chief security officer.
Doherty’s other previous roles at the nonprofit include director of security, corporate facility security officer and manager of industrial security.
Prior to joining Draper, she spent over 10 years at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, holding positions such as special security representative and strategic resource.
In October, Draper was awarded a potential five-year, $2.2 billion contract from the U.S. Navy for engineering and technical support services needed for the maintenance and sustainment of the Mark 6 guidance subsystem of the submarine-launched Trident II ballistic missile.
