He will help scale the production of autonomous systems for domestic and international customers and lead a team of 200 engineers and technicians across the U.S. and Australia, Anduril said Wednesday.
Flynn brings over two decades of experience in automotive and robotics manufacturing and engineering. He previously spent more than six years at Tesla, where he was director of manufacturing engineering.
His industry career also includes time as a senior engineering specialist at Toyota’s Canadian subsidiary, director of West Coast operations at Comau and VP of hardware manufacturing at Starsky Robotics.
“His experience in implementing digital technologies that enable production operations to efficiently scale will be instrumental in delivering disruptive, autonomous defense capabilities at the magnitude needed by the United States and our allies,” said Matt Grimm, co-founder and chief operating officer at Anduril.
