IT and supply chain platforms provider C5MI has appointed Deven Joshi, a digital transformation leader, as chief artificial intelligence officer.

The latest CAIO appointment at C5MI reflects the growing emphasis federal contractors are placing on disciplined, results-driven AI adoption — a theme expected to remain a major focus across the GovCon community this year. That conversation will continue at the Potomac Officers Club’s 2026 Artificial Intelligence Summit on March 18. Secure your seat and join the dialogue shaping the next phase of AI implementation in the federal market.
In this capacity, Joshi will oversee C5MI’s AI strategy with a focus on scalable execution, disciplined AI adoption and measurable outcomes for customers, the company said Wednesday.
“AI only matters if it delivers results,” said Derek Dyer, chief operating officer at C5MI. “Deven understands how to take innovation and put it to work at scale. His leadership strengthens our ability to move faster, think smarter, and win for our clients. That focus on execution and momentum reflects how C5MI operates every day because getting stuff done defines our culture.”
