George Kovatch, former deputy comptroller at the Department of Defense and a U.S. Coast Guard veteran, has been appointed to Aeyon‘s board of advisers.
He will serve as DOD chair on the board and provide guidance for strategic initiatives, the management consulting and data analytics services company said Wednesday.
Patrick Collins, chief growth officer at Aeyon, said Kovatch will offer insights on navigating government processes as that company pursues growth and innovation efforts.
While at DOD, Kovatch led a team of senior military leaders and civilians responsible for securing congressional support for the Pentagon’s annual budget and National Defense Strategy priorities.
His government career included time as deputy chief management officer at the Navy and assistant director of the Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers.
The 20-year USCG veteran established a consulting and government relations company after his stint at DOD.
