Former SAIC Exec Bryan Bearden Appointed Sumaria VP of IT Services

Bryan Bearden, former vice president of portfolio management at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), has been named VP of information technology services at Sumaria Systems.

He will be responsible for helping drive Sumaria’s operational culture and growth and ensure the delivery of technology products to customers, the company said Wednesday.

Bearden served in the U.S. Air Force for 25 years before transitioning to the private aerospace and defense industries.

His military career included time as commander of the 363rd Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing, chief of strategic operations at the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Air Force chair at Marine Corps University.

While at SAIC, he led domestic and international programs that provided support to Air Force organizations and the combatant commands.

Danvers, Massachusetts-based Sumaria offers IT, engineering and professional services to the government sector.
